Touch A Truck - San Diego
On September 29, 2012, from 10am to 3pm, take your kids to Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego for the "Touch A Truck" event!
At this family friendly event, kids can feel free to climb in and honk the horn of firetrucks, racecars, motorcycles, low-riders, construction trucks, and trash trucks! The Wells Fargo Stage Coach, Robosaurus, military vehicles, and Big Rigs are also available for a childhood fun adventure. For the adults, there is live music and over 20 gourmet food trucks. And don't miss the old fashioned bake sale, lemonade experience, roving entertainment, Star Wars Characters, Shamu and Ronald McDonald.

Oktoberfest Big Bear Lake
Well if it's September, can October be far away? October is the month of Oktoberfest! Try the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest from September 15 through October 27th. It's a weekend Festival with German Bands, dancing, German food and beer, log-sawing competitions, kid's contests, arts and crafts, vendors and games. Check it out and get your lederhosen on!

The 2012 Orange International Street Fair
Once again it's time for the Orange International Street Fair. Running Labor Day Weekend, from Friday August 31 through Sunday, September 2, 2012 you will NOT be disappointed! This is a free event to attend, parking is not free and you will have to scout for a spot!
The street fair is located in the Orange Circle, in Orange California and has been here for over 40 years. Here is helpful information:

Travel Discounts - Travel Zoo
Are you familiar with Travel Zoo? I have their app on my iPod, but I haven't tried purchasing anything yet. It is a very handy "go to" for Top 20 Deals, local deals, deals in other cities, travel deals and inspirational travel! They negotiate discounts with suppliers all around the world and it's amazing to see what is available.
It is a very worth while site to keep handy if you will or want to travel! Especially if it is a last minute idea!
