Who wouldn't want to stretch their dollar when it comes to theater tickets, since they can tend to be pricey? Since theater is my passion, I want to see as many shows as possible without breaking the bank.

If you are not already familiar with it, you should check out Todaytix.com. It is a great source for last minute show tickets at reduced prices. You can choose from several drop-down options for major cities that you may be close to or may be traveling to. There is a very easy to use app that you can download that will keep this information at your fingertips when you are out and about!

Save Money at the Movies!

Going to the movies is fun, but it can be expensive. If you are a member of AARP, Regal Entertainment Group wants to sell you movie snacks at a discount!  Present your AARP card at any Regal, United Artists or Edwards movie theater concession stand and get a 32 ounce drink and a 64 ounce popcorn for $5.50. 

Specials for everyone are: $2.00 candy on Mondays and $2.00 popcorn on Tuesdays. And don't forget that you can receive one free refill with the purchase of a large soft drink and/or a large popcorn on the same day of purchase! 

If you are not already a member, join the Regal Crown Club for rewards. Swipe your card every time you go to the movies or buy concessions and be surprised at the rewards. I don't go that often, but on my last visit I got a coupon for $2.00 off of a box of candy and one free admission ticket! Now that's exciting!

Last but not least, you can buy discounted movie passes in advance at COSTO, AAA and online from Regal's online shop. I use them in the evenings since movies are more expensive then. And don't forget to get a senior's discount if you are 66 or older when you purchase your ticket!
