I know that today is only December 15th, but today I get an early Christmas present! My daughter will be arriving home from her semester abroad! She has been gone since mid August and has been having a wonderful adventure in Ireland while studying and meeting grand new lads and lasses. I am sure to hear a lot of new words and phrases that she has added into her daily language from the colloquialism of the Emerald Isle!
The odd thing to think about is that she starts her journey at what will be 1:00 am my time and will arrive here at 3:00 pm after a 14 hour travel period. Whew! She is a time traveller, travelling back in time, or so it seems. I'm sure glad that I will be sleeping through most of it.
I am sure that she will be one tuckered out traveller, but I will be very happy to have her home for the Holidays!
