So who knew that my doctor would recommend Claritin-D to help ease the pain of a recent earache? I have know about antihistamines for allergy relief, but apparently they can also help with the fluids that accumulate behind the eardrum that can then cause ear pain.
So I am giving it a try. So far, with the pills, some Tylenol and some prescribed ear drops I feel like I am properly armed to defeat the ache. Only time will tell!
