Old Savings Bonds

Do you have old savings bonds tucked away in a closet, jewelry box or envelope that you bought or were given as a gift? You can check on their current value by going to the Treasury System Website. Use the green "Individual" tab to browse through selections for the type of bonds you have. Once there, you can type in the bond serial numbers and the values will pop up on the screen.

This is a great tool to have to research your bonds to see if they have reached maturity, are still earning interest or if you should just cash them in!
